Jonathan Tavares is a Canadian born chef of Portuguese descent. He has worked in the food industry his whole life, developing a strong passion and love for the culinary arts. Under his mentor, Chef Mark Duncan, he graduated among the top of his class, along with an award of excellence from Liaison Culinary College. Concluding graduation, he continued on as a tutor, while also teaching several culinary boot camp programs. As owner/chef of Fork'n Tasty, Chef Jonathan is afforded the privilege and joy of doing what he loves most, sharing his cooking with others while improving his culinary skills on a daily basis.
At Fork'n Tasty we mainly specialize in Portuguese and Italian cuisine. We offer fresh and frozen meals to go. Chef's famous Piri-Piri chicken, and sandwich combos are available all day. Our cold fridge display offers an a la carte menu to go. Simply "heat it 'n' eat it." Our freezer section offers medium to large servings of prepared meals such as shepherd's pie, lasagna, cabbage rolls, butter chicken, soups, sauces, and more. *We also cater, so if you have an event coming up, let us do the cooking for you!
